Over the past 40 years Cranhill Arts has evolved from the origins of an artist in residence, to an organisation promoting personal development and advocacy particularly among the most marginalised and hard to reach people in our society. Our main objective is the communication of skills to local people. By utilising the facilities, training and support available at Cranhill Arts, we can help people build their confidence, experience and ability levels. Training creates positive results, enabling our project users to produce high quality projects, exhibitions and events which showcase their skills to a wider audience.
Working within the North East of Glasgow and city wide our main areas of work include photography, oral history /photographic archiving, multi-media, visual art, introductory computer and IT skills, exhibition design and layout and issue based projects. For further information on our current program please contact 0141 774 8595 cranhillarts@btconnect.com
Our facilities are extensively used by the community in its widest sense including adults, the elderly, people living with a disability, young people refugee and asylum seeking community and young people in care.
